Hello everyone I was stationed at TJ 1983-1991 and was assigned to the 2186 Comm Sq though I worked at the Comm Site Humosa. As with many it was the best assignment you could ever wish for. I have been living and working in Europe every since but nothing compares to the days of Madrid while at TJ. I have much love for all who had the opportunity to serve at such a special place.
Kindest regards,
Sherwood

I was stationed in Torrejon AB Jan 82-Jan 85. I was a crew chief (AFSC 43171) in the CADRE team for the conversion to the F-16s, worked the flight line for a few months to receive the first F-16s, and then at the Phase Inspection Docks. Spain Rocks!!!
I have kept in contact with a few crew chiefs from TJ. John Kissler, Andy Toler, Jose "Chico" Romero..., and a few others.
