Is this the same Candy that married Randall Mason? Did she live in Royal Oaks, can you describe her? By the way, did you know Bubba Williams who worked in the Sheetmetal shop.

I remember Candy Kane (her father was Chief Kane). She did get maried to a guy that was SFS (I think) and moved to Guam after highschool. I ran into her a few years later down in Fort Walton Beach FL.

Don't see too many folks from the 60's; I was at Torrejon from Aug 66 to Feb 70 (yep, I extended 6 more months). Worked in Personnel (Assignments), lived downtown near Univ of Madrid, partied a bunch in the clubs situated around the "tombs"; we also had some great base tackle football and basketball teams too! I retired in l986, now living and working (investment banking) in Atlanta. If there are any of you 60's folks out there, give me a shout out!! Adios

Great site, I was able to contact Four ol friends through this site from my May 1968 to June 1972 assignment at Torrejon in the 625th Military Airlift Support Squadron (MASS). We were young, worked hard and partied hard. A lot of great stories to remember from those days.

Larry, I arrived in 1970, we worked on different flts."B Flt" Msgt. Underwood........but I do remember you were part of a team that changed a C141A engine on a 2 hour quick turn.....it made it off on time. An act hard to follow. Ray Bellavance

Ray, I've been told by another 625th guy (Sam Horn)that he lost touch with you so I'm not sure you'll see this. I was in your flight with Sgt Underwood, and we got together with our wives a couple times. I was a recip prop guy and lived for a time in Alcala then moved to Torrejon Apts. My wife at the time was Carol. Hope we can make contact. My email is dagusta99@gmail.com. I'm in Colorado now.
