My dad, SSgt. Jack Nichols, was stationed at Torrejon Air Base from August 68 to August 73 at the LOX Plant along the flight line then tranferred to the AC/Refrigeration and Heating Maintenance shop. We lived off base in Madrid at Calle de los Arfe, 20. I attended Royal Oaks Elementary and Torrejon Middle and High School. I was in the Class of 1975. I would love to hear from anybody that remembers me or might have known me.

Hello, Since you were there during this time did you remember Stella and Hope Jones they were both sisters and they lived in Parque Cataluna? I am trying to locate their parents; I believe their father worked in CBPO and his wife's name was Donna.

Hello TJ family, I was stationed at TJ from 1981-1989. Like everyone else I didn't want to leave. I worked at the 401st MAT training office greeting all newcomers to the 401 TFW. You may remember me teaching BUDDY CARE and flightline safety. Later became Senior NCO of the 401 EMS Age Branch. I also worked at the Rec Center and the NCO Clubs. I have returned back to spain on a couple of occasions , and would love to plan a trip of old friends back to Madrid . Contact me!

I was TDY wth the 625 MASS from Dover during summer and fall of 1970. I spent much of that time downtown in the clubs, especially Stone's Club, since it had my last name. The DJ would announce the arrival of "Mr. Stone" when I walked in. Those were good times indeed.

Wow we were just remembering the good times we had in spain from 83-87. I was in 401st supply and Chip was in 614 AMU weapons. We lived in Parque Cataluna Silico 9 right above Kingstons Pub. We loved Discoteca Stones, The Rib House, Arense and Madrid. We hung out with Ned & Pierre, Wendy & Clark, Rocky & Tracy, Tony & Betrice, Tilt, Xavier, Brian & April. Wow memories. We're still hanging in there after 27 years of marriage. We plan to visit Spain real soon. Hit us up if you remember Chip and Renie

Hey neighbor! I lived a block away on Pozo de las Nieves 9, right above Teo's. Right across the street from a parking garage. Hung out at the usual bars, including Cash Pub, NCO club, B-52s. Miss that place.

Hey Chip and Renie. Yes they were good times. TJ was my first duty station in 1983 and I remember meeting Renie my first day in Spain. I was assigned to 401st Supply Squadron in POL and was very disappointed that my extension was denied and I had to leave in 1985. My best USAF assignment!
