I was at TAB 1973 to 1975. Worked as an aircraft mechanic on the F4-C. Didn't get to know a lot of people and sadly don't remember the names of the ones I did become friends with. There is one person I would like to talk to. I don't remember your name but you know who you are. I gave me my last box of stuff and 20 bucks and asked you to ship it to me in the states. I never saw either ever again! There were some priceless things in that box. Thanks a lot! Maybe someday you'll read this and explain why you did that.

I was stationed at TJ 81-83. Worked in the Instrument/Autopilot shop in CRS. I have fond memories of the Rib House and going to the discos on Calle Orense in Madrid. Spent many nights dancing the night away and catching the first bus in the morning back to base. Looking for friends, Dan and Barb English, Dickie Hawkins, Greg Milatz, Diane Askren.

I was there from 2/1987 thru 12/1989. Played lots of tennis and worked with William Donald in the plans and programs office as an air force captain. Looking for friends!

Eric Pine Sunday, 6 January 2013 18:03
Sir: You may remember Lt. Jason Blakeslee from the weather station- he played a lot of tennis at TJ as well during those same years. If you still have contact with him, tell him Sgt. Pine said "hello". I gave him many crash Spanish tutorials, as he was dating and eventually married a Spanish girl.

Shane Fleming Saturday, 6 July 2013 09:17
Mr. Giddens sir. Wow. I remember you you played in a tennis tournament in 1988. I was the ball boy for the tournament. You laughed at the way I always kept my head down. I did my best to keep your game moving and you were patient. I remember because of the name. Good to see you sir.

I found this website today and was thrilled to see it! I lived first in Canillejas, then Royal Oaks. Our first home there I see via Google is overgrown and being sold, so sad. No longer Canillejas, it's now in Madrid proper. Good for Madrid to enlarge, sad to see Avenida de Vicalvaro change so much, but, to me, it will always be my home.

Father was Lt. Col. August Leo Woeltz, we were there from 1959 - 1961.

I grew up in Casablanca, Morocco and in Madrid, Spain - we lived in Canillejas from 1959 to 1967. I graduated HS in 1965 and stayed there two more years.
