Then assigned to Tropospheric Scatter site - Humosa de Los Santos - about 20 klicks from main base, road towards Zaragosa. I was a 30750 (TelComm Systems Controller). I was stationed at Torrejon AB from June 1978 to February 1981. I was in the one of the F4C squadrons but don't remember which one. Will have to go back and look at some old paper work. Feel free to contact me if you remember me.

I was stationed at Torrejon AFB, Spain
from 1968 to 1970. Worked at Pass & ID and as admin spec for the 16th AF Security Police Headquarters. Did 30 day
TDY to Turkey.

Richard A. Solis Tuesday, 1 November 2016 15:47
Coincidence - I was stationed at Torrejon also from '68 to '70, although I was in the 307th TFS and I also did a couple of TDY's to Turkey.

I was stationed at TJ from 1985-1990 and was in the 2186CS. I worked in the Wideband facility (under the Command Post), and at Job Control in the squadron office for a couple years. I lived in the dorms while stationed there, but spent most of my off-duty time in Madrid.

Looking to connect with old friends.

I was stationed at Torrejon Air Base from April 1986 to May 1989. I was Medical Administration and worked in the base hospital. I ran the Aeromedical Evacuation Office for half my time and the other have worked in Medical Plans and Readiness. I remember taking great tours out of the rec center. After leaving Torrejon went to RAF Fairford and then RAF Lakenheath. Got off Active duty in 1992 then went into the reserves at March Air Force Base, now called March Air Reserve Base and retired from the reserves in 2003 as a TSgt. I currently live in Chatsworth, CA which is just north of Los Angeles.

I was at TJAB twice from 78-81 & 83-89 assigned to the Com Gp working with the Cable Antenna Maintenance Team "CAT" for short. We worked in a old quantsa hut way out past everything on base. I was lucky enough to have gone TDY to all of the other sites to maintain their antenna systems. I had planed to retire at Menorica and sell sea shells to tourist util the Euro came to be and I was heading state side. I was there when the rib place was blown up and that ended my visits there. Best damn ribs I have ever eaten even to this date.

Steve Heywood Thursday, 1 September 2016 14:16
Yeah, the Rib House was so good. It was a shame they blew it up. I remember coming back from Madrid on that night, seeing all of the fire trucks and police. I will never forget that.
